Vivalife is more exhilirating when you participate in the special events held at Vivala!

A recent one about traveling in style and comfort provided everything a smart Vivalady would want to know to make her particular journey par excellence, including the Top 12 Essential Items to Bring Anywhere (reprinted here for your convenience)!

1. Your identification (passport) with an extra copy in your travel bag and one at home.
2. Cell phone (preferably with International dialing capabilities).
3. Medicines and personal products (remembering the 3 ounce rule). Don't hesitate to ask for sample sizes of your must-have personal products before your journey and you'll be set.
4. Gum, yes gum. In addition to helping with ear popping it is one smart "ice-breaker" with folks from other countries, for many of whom it's a novelty.
5. Change of clothes in your carry on bag to include a full outfit such as pants, jacket/shirt combination and cami top.
6. Bottle for water (fill it at the airport after you go through security).
7. Phone numbers and addresses you'll need while away. Many will be on your cell phone but you should also have a print copy with you.
8. An inventory of what you packed (this will make knowing what you lost and recovering it a lot easier).
9. Valuables (if you must take them along, pack them securely and keep them with you). You might also consider taking costume jewerly that you don't might losing or damaging but that looks great and dresses you up nonetheless.
10. Antibacterial hand wash.
11. Entertainment...everything from magazines, books, lap top, camera and more.
12. First aid kit (for you or to help fellow travelers).
